Frequently Asked Questions

Most frequent questions and answers about our sliding wardrobe doors

Q. Are the top and bottom tracks included with the doors?

A Yes, the tracks are included in the price.

Q What is the thickness of the glass? And is it safe?

A All glass and mirrors are 4mm thick. They are backed to UK safety standards.

Q. Why are your doors so much cheaper than anyone on the web? Are they inferior doors?

A The answer is simple, we buy in bulk and we are happy with a smaller profit margin. Our doors are in no way inferior, in fact, we have been manufacturing wardrobe sliding doors now since the 1990s, so I suppose that speaks volumes. Much of our custom is repeat business or recommendations which only comes with selling quality products.

Q How difficult are the doors to fit?

A Fitting should give a good DIYer no problems at all. Only basic tools are needed and we are always on the end of the phone if you need help. Fitting instructions can be found on our website.

Q What should I do if I have coving?

A Simply take out enough of the coving to make room for the top track.

Q The door style that I’m looking for doesn’t seem to be available on your website. Are you still able to help?

A If you have a particular design in mind or have seen something you like elsewhere we may be able to give you a quote.

Q What should I do if I have carpet?

A If possible you should fix the bottom track to an 18mm thick packer and then lay carpet either side. If carpet is already present you could use a Stanley knife to cut out a section or alternatively use an 8mm packer on top. If you choose this option be sure to keep the screws close together to avoid problems with the track.

Q How high and wide can the doors be?

A All doors are designed and made to meet the specification of your room. The maximum height of the opening without infill is 2480mm and the maximum width is 5m.

Q Would I be able to collect my doors?

A If you wish to collect, doors will be ready around 10 days after ordering.

Q How long will delivery take?

A Depending on where you are, doors will take 2 to 4 weeks to be delivered. However, please note certain parts of England and Wales can be anything up to 60 days for delivery.

Q What is the lead time for Sliding Wardrobe Doors?

A Manufacturing lead time for sliding wardrobe doors is one week. However, please note delivery will be the first available delivery slot in your area. We advise referring to the delivery page on our website to see overall lead times.
