We recently completed a major upgrade at Davidson Mains Primary School in Edinburgh, working alongside our client, Maxi Construction.
This £50,000 + VAT project involved replacing around 200 double-glazed units and panels within the school’s existing curtain walling system.
The new high energy performance glass has not only improved the look of the school building but also brought meaningful changes to the daily comfort of pupils and staff. During spring and summer, classrooms had become uncomfortably hot, while the winter months often left the same spaces far too cold.
This upgrade helps regulate the internal temperature throughout the year, making it easier for pupils to concentrate and learn in a more comfortable environment.

The installation phase took place over three weeks, with between two and six members of the Forsyth team on site each day, depending on the task.
We’re proud to have contributed to such an important upgrade and would like to thank Maxi Construction and Davidson Mains Primary School.
